Hello everyone out there. This website is dedicated to a group of girls, "The Champagne Girls" from the Gothenburg area in Sweden. This really great tradition; "Always Sälen week 12" started up 12 years ago.
History.
Once upon a time there were 6 girls, primarily neighbors, that used to have a little club of meetings now and then where they were supposed to do some sewing. There were not that much sewing done though, instead a lot of talking and nice food on the table. Since they had such fun during these meetings and everyone liked to ski they decided they should go skiing for a weekend together in Sälen in the Swedish mountains. They went in Week 12 twelve years ago and from that day they/we had each year, the same week, been doing this.
Today the group has extended to at least 18 girls and myself (webmaster Gugge); I went with them for the first time in year 2000,
and I believe we all are having a great time and will definitely go the following years to come, the same week of course
- WEEK 12.
This site will be conducted in English since then everyone will be able to read it, Swedish or otherwise.
